Creating nutritious, safe and sustainable seafood for consumers of tomorrow

The global demand for food (including seafood) is expected to double by 2050, creating a need for seafood products that are socially, economically and environmentally sustainable.

SEAFOODTOMORROW is developing new environmentally-friendly and transparent seafood production and processing methods that will improve European seafood security.

The project started in November 2017 and ends in April 2021. The consortium brings together 35 partners and 13 third-party affiliates from 19 countries across Europe.
